Choose the first loop

A manageable trial tests a circular proposition more effectively than a broad pledge.

Bound the opportunity

Select one product family, location or material stream. Define the problem and the decision the trial should support. A clear boundary makes responsibilities and evidence easier to manage.

Set the conditions

Agree quality requirements, partner responsibilities and a review point. Include the commercial and logistical assumptions. Environmental benefits need to be assessed alongside the work required to achieve them.

Learn before scaling

Compare the observed result with the original assumptions. Record failures as well as useful outputs. Expansion is a new decision, not an automatic consequence of completing a trial.
